Weekends in October, come to the scariest haunted house in Kansas! This haunted house contains claustrophobic passages, sudden scares, loud noises, air blasts, scenes of gore and violence, strobe lights, fog and mist, stairs and uneven floors, extended periods of darkness, severe and heart-pounding psychological terror and is just ridiculously creepy! Younger children can enjoy our "Halloween Town" attraction with carnival games, trick or treating, outdoor maze and a costume contest.
October 26, 2017, 5:15 PM - 7:30 PM @ Parade starts at the corner of 9th & Washington St; Fun activities for the kids afterwards at the 12th Street Community Center
The parade of costumed children forms at the corner of 9th & Washington St. at 5:15 PM, then marches down to 6th St. preceded by the Junction City High School Marching Band. The downtown businesses then pass out candy and treats to the children. Kids of all ages, parents and leashed furry friends are all welcome to join the Costume Parade! Afterwards, children can enjoy games, candy, and costume fun at the 12th Street Community Center, 1002 W. 12th St.

Visit some historic buildings on Fort Riley... but, be careful of ghosts! Some say that certain buildings on Fort Riley are haunted, we'll let you decide. Listen to the ghost stories and myths of "Historic Fort Riley" and see where it happened. A walking, guided tour will take you so some of the most famous "haunted" buildings on Fort Riley. Be sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and dress for the weather, sometimes it gets chilly when the sun goes down on haunted Main Post. Don't miss this interesting and spooky look at what seems familiar in the light of day. Our guides and storytellers will share ghost stories that have been reported by residents of haunted homes and employees who work in haunted facilities. There will also be a generous sprinkling of historical tidbits about Fort Riley, and some of the many interesting things that have happened on and around the post.
